We definitely need more modular possibilities and a smaller footprint. One constraint that is important is to keep the mapping to the Pharo objects as straightforward as possible. We currently have a 1-to-1 mapping, and this is important to preserve. Another issue to keep into consideration if we modify the meta-meta-model is to provide a compatible solution for Java (and possibly other languages).
