we have three panes
select an item in pane 1
update pane 2
update pane 3
mouse over pane 3
scrolling fast the pane 3
change the selection in pane 1

Hi,
Yes. Unfortunately, this is an bug in the VM that is specifically
problematic with the touchpad of mac. The problem seems to be that a
different event than scrolling gets triggered. You can reproduce the same
problem everywhere you have scrollbars (for example in Nautilus just scroll
fast on classes).
