Dear All,
I would like to know how far are we from getting rid of FAMIX2 in the Pharo version of Moose? FAMIX2 comprises 55 classes and 1084 methods. I have never used any of these. Jannik, does DSM works on FAMIX3 ?

Hi Alex,
I would suggest to remove FAMIX2 from Moose-All, and just keep it in the repository for other users.

I do not understand your answer. I think that this is important that FAMIX2.0 works well in sqMoose. so that people can smoothly port their code to sqMoose, so that we can check whether our code extractor worked. At the end we will just let it as an optional package. Stef

This is what was meant: to keep FAMIX2 as an optional package, but not in the main Moose-All distribution.

That FAMIX2 is not part of Moose-All anymore. But it was not that trivial to do. I spent some time this morning with Jannik to make sure we do not result in a screwed situation.

The problem was that almost all Moose tests were red if famix2 is not present in memory. Some methods belonged to famix2 (e.g., CompiledMethod>>signature) while being used by famix3. Some classes as well (e.g., MooseGroup). I, with the help of Simon and Jannik, fixed this over the last few days.
