Hi Doru,
I tried to use inFusion to import Eclipse source. After 24 hours processing, it return an error: "Exception in thread "Thread-2" java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space".
Argh, the project is too big. But is it possible that the tool display this message before process ?
Is it possible also to add a progress bar ? Because for now, it is not possible to know what infusion is doing during the process.

Hi Jannik, if you don't need to use inFusion but you need to produce just the mse file, have you tried to use the command java2mse?
cheers,
Fabrizio

Hi Fabrizio,
I do not know this command. Is it included in inFusion ? or is it another tool ?
Cheers, Jannik

It is included in inFusion. You can find it in: /tools/inFusion/java2mse.sh (or bat)
If you do not have it, it probably means that you have an old version of inFusion. The current version is 7.2.5.
Cheers, Doru

Hi Jannik,
you can find it in the directory of inFusion. The command is java2mse.sh
Usage: java2mse source_path famix_version ("famix21"or "famix30") mse_file_name
Cheers,
Fabrizio

And you certainly need to push up the max heap for the JVM.

Hi Jannik,
It is a bit difficult to estimate whether the allocated RAM is enough or not. However, you can change the memory limit in the infusion.sh.
Also, it is strange that there is no progress bar, because there should be.
Cheers, Doru
