Hi, It is probably not a bad idea, but this is conceptually different from what we have now. A multistate button would be more about setting a preference of the presentation than triggering an action over data. This is of course important, but I think I would prefer to have this implemented in a different way: http://code.google.com/p/moose-technology/issues/detail?id=687 The idea is to distinguish between what is presentation and what is domain.
