Indeed.

This type of navigation is similar to what exists right now, but better. Here is why: - Right now, dragging can have two distinct meanings depending on where you are. Especially, if the element is small, you do not know for certain if you will drag the element, or if you will scroll through the view - Having a pseudo-mode (e.g., pressing space) will clarify the situation significantly.

This type of navigation should not disappear even if we add some other means.
