Hi list
No, it's neither a contest between me and Doru, nor a sudden frenzy for big pictures hanging on the wall.
Here it is, although it's still not a final version (in particular, I'm not satisfied with the catch phrase at the top)
http://rmod.lille.inria.fr/seaside/pier/people/Simon+Denier/mooseposter?_s=M...
Comments are welcome, although the window is small as I will send it tomorrow for printing.
Very important, I actually need some logos in pdf or graffle format from the following teams/universities: SCG Bern, Lugano, VUB, Louvain la Neuve, SOUL (to be put next to the RMoD logo) Or I will try to reuse the ones found on the web.

Hi Simon,
You can get all the logos of the University of Lugano here: http://www.press.unisi.ch/corporate-design/corporate-design-download.htm
This is probably the one you need:

Hi Simon,
Indeed, it is not a contest, it's just fun :).
But, I do have a couple of comments:
- The colors do not match very well with the colors of Moose. --- The blue at the bottom is not the same as the blue from the top, and they are both not the same as the blue used in the Moose logo (R: 0 G: 102 B: 204) --- I would change the yellow into light gray. --- The black in the names does not go with the yellow. --- The green/red/yellow used to represent the metrics, queries and algorithms introduce even more colors. Sticking with those already introduced (moose-blue and gray in my suggestions, or moose-blue and yellow in your schema) would do just fine.
- There are too many fonts. I detected 4 fonts (Helvetica, Arial Narrow, Arial Black, Arial) with various typefaces. I would suggest to use just Helvetica Neue with Condensed Bold, and if needed with Regular typeface.
- The alignment of Software Quality Assurance is centered, while all the other captions are flushed left or right. I would suggest flushing left in this case.
- Adding the logos on the bottom will create a visual clutter. I believe it would be better to just name them with the font used.
- We positioned Moose until now as a software analysis/assessment platform. So, maybe a catch phrase for the top could be "Assess your software systems".
- I would not say "Moose is also a Collaboration: ... ". I would just leave what comes afterwards, and I would use the 10+ schema suggested by Michele.
Cheers, Doru

blame the weird omnigraffle ui, now it's ok

not really sure what to do, I go with a gray.

Indeed, the Rmod works well alone, but with the others it does not fit.
So guys, instead of logos, how do you want your affiliation to appear?

Hi Simon,
Just list the names of the institutions. It is easier and fits better.
