We are doing a project to convert the data of a cobol system. That means we only parse the data and file definitions, and the source file dependencies. The parser is handwritten and generates a data-specific metamodel, not MSE. It uses (project-specific) naming conventions to guide the construction of the model. There currently are too many project-specific dependencies that we need to remove. Please contact me when you have a concrete application.

I remember in ESUG people presenting a work related to the analysis of Cobol sources in Moose, but I am not sure if their work is available for us. If we don't have one, do you know a good parser / ast generator to Cobol sources? Just to the case if we want to implement something one day...
