Hi,
I am thinking of starting another effort in April to extend moose.unibe.ch, and I am looking for 1-2 people interested in giving a hand with it. It would involve coding in Squeak and with Pier.
Please let me know if you would be willing to help.
Here are some use cases:
- make publications update periodically from external urls
- generate news for the newer publications (like on the scg website)
- make the tool page a special structure that has explicit pointers to publications, to contributors and to the license
- describe the tool as active/inactive and build a museum for the inactive tools (Michele's suggestion)
- have the contributor be a special structure where we can derive a default profile based
- query the VW Store database for project information, and then link the information with the existing publications and contributors
- an upload interface for case studies
Cheers, Doru

- an upload interface for case studies
Hi Doru! What do you mean by upload interface? I am interested in having a kind of portal in which anyone can submit a big .zip file in order to be processed by moose. This should not be that hard. I would be able to do it in Squeak, but I am not familiar with VW's GUI framework. Typically, in a headless image, a model has to be loaded, a model loaded, Monrian easel opened, a script executed, and the content of the upper pane in Mondrian dumped into a .png file...

I am talking about the website that manages the community of Moose, and in this context I am talking about the case studies that we can share between us.
The mentioned interface should allow us to upload and describe the different case studies.
