The goal of a highlight in moose.unibe.ch is to provide an entry point inside the content of the page.
The highlight should be visual and the accompanying text should be kept to a minimum. Please do not write more than one line there, because it clutters the front page.

You have all the space in the dedicated page for as many sentences you need to convey the message.
The place on the front page is a gift in the form of a shortcut, and like any gift it should not be abused. For example, if you add more text in there then this text will compete with the other text from the main page and that leads to confusion.

I must say I agree with Doru on this one. It's not about style, it's about psychology. And I think it's clear that a small amount of words gets the attention a lot faster than a full sentence (which is easily ignored).
I must confess; I haven't had a look at the problem yet :)

Actually, it's not really Ok.
Like Toon pointed out I brought some arguments in the discussion while you just brought in your preference.
Even if there were no arguments, individual styles is Ok for individuals, but as a community we should strive for cohesion especially when we are talking about a common space. Of course, there are moments when we need to be made aware of new solutions, but this is hardly such a case.
So, that is why I would kindly ask you to just accept this one like it is.

I dont feel that the Chronia and Hapax highlight are inappropriate.
I suggest that we keep it as it is, and reconsider the issue in two months when we have Google analytics data to take an empirical decision rather than tapping in the dark.
Does that sound okay?
