hi Doru
what is the first version of moose the old that was completely BSD? I want to know the price that I have to pay not to have code with funny license in moose. I'm sorry but I start to be really pissed off by the situation and the attitude of adrian. So if he wants to play alone and build a great system perfect. Now as a community we should react and I start to be really pissed off by such a childish atttitude. So if adrian does not know how to respect other people what can I say.
I would really like to see this issue resolve. Else I will really do a campaign against moose and the foundation and all the shit around.
First I decided that I will quit the board because I REALLY HAVE SOMETHING ELSE TO DO
Stef
Hi Stef, Hi other Moose Board members,
Could we have a board meeting in Bern sometime soon? I would like to know exactly what is going on with Moose. I cannot keep up with the volume of email. I think it would be good if we sit together and identify what the problems are and we solve them.
Cheers, Orla

I think that I over reacted about the license. So may be I was stupid but may be this is also that the situation was really not clear. I'm trying to understand why I was so touched by the topic (beside been burnt by squeak over the last 4 years).
Here are some points: - fuzzy discussion on moose-dev - I was not aware that there is a moose and moose-dev I thought that moose was deprecated else I would have shout there :) - web site with a lot of unclear licenses (so may be this one could be fixed first) - GPL discussion in addition to creativecommons to BSD. - Not clear statement from an outsider about what were the parts touched by what. (may be this was said and I did not understand it as it should have).
I think that we should have a clear statement and position to solve that for the future. Here is a draft of the moose license that we could ask people to sign. Once you have the missing information, then I could ask the past moosers to sign it: sara, pierrick, hani, mathieu, damien and me.

no, the board list is for the board.. at least that is the point of having a board. If I'm on the wrong page, then I'll just call myself out of all this, because it starts to get annoying. Honestly, there is a moose-dev list, which is for people to talk about DEVelopment issues, and there is a moose board list, on which the elected board members are supposed to talk (in civilized terms). I think that I over reacted about the license. So may be I was stupid but may be this is also that the situation was really not clear. I'm trying to understand why I was so touched by the topic (beside been burnt by squeak over the last 4 years).
Here are some points:
- fuzzy discussion on moose-dev
- I was not aware that there is a moose and moose-dev I thought
that moose was deprecated else I would have shout there :)
- web site with a lot of unclear licenses (so may be this one
could be fixed first)
- GPL discussion in addition to creativecommons to BSD.
- Not clear statement from an outsider about what were the parts
touched by what.

Hi Folks,
Please make two new mailing lists called moose-board and moose-assoc.
The email moose@iam.unibe.ch is not a good one, as it is absolutely not clear what it is for.
At best it should be a user account and not a mailing list.
