I saw a presentation of an inria team Graphite and their tool is cool (of course we cannot compete) but may be looking at ome of their work or use it could be cool.

Nice, indeed.
It would be great to find a collaboration. The simplest solution is to use their engine by means of dot or gml files.
But the more interesting thing would be to communicate bidirectionally with their system via some ffi.
