Nope. These tests are run twice. The first time they will fail as there are instances of the inspector in the image from other tests. After all tests are done we delete the results of these tests, run garbageCollect a few times, and run them again.

what is a ghost instances?

It is the instances of some tools (playground, debuggers,...) that have their window closed but are not garbage collected as they should be. It seems that running 2 times '3 timesRepeat: [Smalltalk garbageCollect]' gc these instances.
