Indeed, I was not clear.
There are two situations in which you can use Cmd+o:
- if you have a unary method, you can execute it directly by selecting it
from the methods list and pressing Cmd+o
- if you are in the code pane, you can select code at any time and press
Cmd+o (for example, in your case, you can just select "self" and press
Cmd+o). This is like you do it in the code browser, only you do not have to
instantiate self.
