I also think this is the best solution. That is until we get a faster
replacement for PackageInfo :)

No error when opening the browser. However, I

This is not related to the browser but to the importer. When you
open a new browser in a fresh Moose install, it creates the LAN
sample model, hence you have this package cache initialization if
this is the very first time.
Similarly, importing packages in Famix might trigger a 'refresh
package cache' process.
Before that, you still have sometimes to do it by hand, which led to
numerous omissions.
It is not so annoying for now however.
