Please have a look at

There is
#collectUnion:
#flattern
#gather:
#recurisveCollect:
that all use a collection of the same species as the receiver, and
#collectAsSet:
#transitiveClosure:
that use a Set for any collection. If your need is not covered by
that, please feel free to add your own enumerators there.
