that looks very cool! Quick questions:
- this can go from any node to any node or does there need to be a hierarchy between
them?
There has to be some nodes to indicates the "path" the edge has to take. Maybe
we can try with some artificial point of control.
- can this appear/disappear as a context-sensitive
action, e.g. on hover?
There is no reason why it should not. So, I think yes
