Hi Yuriy,
The MetaBrowser is not specific to FAMIX. It's just happens that by default
it opens on the default Fame repository which happens to contain FAMIX. So,
you can just open it on your repository.
For example, here it is opened on the FM3 itself:
MooseMetaBrowser new openOn: FMMetaRepository fm3
Then, from the top right menu of the Meta Browser you can spawn a simple
UML class diagram of the repository (Please update to the latest
RoassalPaintings version to have working properly).
Cheers,
Doru

Yes, I know about that. But I’m talking about pressing
a button, printing
image, hanging it on the wall and telling people: here is my model. Meta
browser is good, but: 1) it shows too much data. I don’t care about FAMIX,
I need only my stuff. 2) For me it’s hard to use it. I have to look in the
other window for the relations data, if I see connection I cannot easily
understand it’s name, I can’t see all collections without clicking on the
item. And of course it’s useless on the non-interactive data carrier.

Maybe this is not related, I do not know, but it looks like to me you want
to use the Meta browser

In general - FAME models. They have annotations, so we can say which
properties have which type. I think that this is somehow an important
feature. I’ve developed a model to use with moose (SmalltalkHub model). Now
I want to see a diagram showing hierarchy of my nodes and relations between
them.

Which kind of models exactly are you referring to?

Can we automatically generate a diagram (preferably something close to
UML) of our metalled built from moose entities?
