Hi,
I think I saw somewhere that processing communicates with C, that is
why I thought about FFI/Alien.

Maybe someone
that knows FFI/Alien could take a look at that?
Yesterday evening I spent a couple of hours to play with processing.
It is a nice framework indeed.
However it is written in Java. I feel that a bit more than FII/Alien
is needed, Java Native Interface will be probably be required. Maybe
JavaConnect can play a role in this.
I will try Rome.
Cheers,
Alexandre

Indeed, we're not alone.
The future of mondrian may be in Cairo support or
Juan works.
So consider to have a look at the cairo package in
PharoTaskForces because it will not come to you alone :)
I haven't closely looked at it, but Cairo is extremely promising
in that respect.
I will have a look at it during this holidays.
