Hi, The Pharo Board is proud to announce a special campaign for attracting new Pharo Consortium members during 2016: http://consortium.pharo.org/web/Membership A new fund has been created from which the Consortium will receive the equivalent of one yearly membership fee for every new member, and the increment in yearly fees for every upgrading member. For example, if a new company joins the Consortium as a Silver member (2000 EUR / year), the fund will contribute a one-time amount of 2000 EUR to the Consortium. Similarly, if a company upgrades from Bronze (1000 EUR / year) to Gold (4000 EUR / year), the fund will contribute a one-time amount of 3000 EUR. This campaign will take place until the end of 2016, or until the fund is depleted. Currently, the fund totals 21000 EUR, a sum which is graciously supported by three companies: - LabWare Inc (http://labware.com) - ObjectProfile (http://objectprofile.com) - feenk gmbh (http://feenk.com) This is an exciting development that paves the way to attract more industrial interest around Pharo. Hi! In a new Moose image, we cannot do a "Transcript open”. Apparently, #Transcript is bound to a NonInteractiveTranscript. NonInteractiveTranscript open raises en error. That is odd. Roassal DNU getting the element from an RTArrowedLine

Hola, in part of the code of LRP I work with arrows, and I need to get the shape, but this triggers a DNU. I guess I need to set something on the arrow before I can get the element, or get it via another route. What should I do? Roassal RTArrowedLine width: bug

Hola, there is a bug in RTArrowedLine: the width: message (defined in the RTAbstractArrowedLine superclass) does not set the width of the head. Could something like the code below be added? This code solves the problem for me. Roassal not working? (at least on Linux)

issue with spotter

Hi! When I activate spotter, and _quickly_ type something, “roassal” for example, and press the down arrow, the selection jumps to the top. I guess this happens when spotter is retrieving data from the system which somehow move the selection to the top most item. This is particularly annoying. Am I the only one to experience this? Celebrating the upcoming Open Data Day (March 5) with Pharo

Hi all, I just want to share a post made on the Open Knowledge Foundation Forum talking about what we're doing in our local community to celebrate the Open Data Day: https://discuss.okfn.org/t/our-poryect-and-hackathon-workshop-for-the-open-… Pharo, Roassal and Moose will be an integral part of our celebration. As I said in the link, we're going to try some treemapping techniques. I know about Quick Silver, but if any has some other advice, is very welcomed. Probably I will be making some questions here and in the chat channel regarding treemapping and some SQLite queries to get the proper info, so I'll keep you posted on how our pharo powered workshop/hackathon for the celebration of the Open Data Day advances. [Roassal2] Events forwarding pressed modifier keys

Hi I decided to propose changes to Trachel and Roassal based on discussion initiated by myself here: http://forum.world.st/Getting-whether-specific-key-is-currently-pressed-td4… Main change is that all Trachel and Roassal user input events now forward which modifier keys are pressed. While I was poking TRMorph, I also tried to simplify few methods in it and fixed that TRMouseMove event had wrong position (visible on exampleMovingEdges). My goal for our DynaCASE was to be able to do more than only select elements (by clicking or doing marquee selection), but also to add more elements to current selection if shift is being held down (control would be better than shift, but control doesn't work quite right).
