In my case, in the whitespace theme I do see the bars, but the absence of visible
separators between the different list views in Nautilus (and the buttons, and the code
pane) kind of annoys me. I switched back to the old theme immediately. But I guess
that's just a matter of taste and habit.

Coming back to the whitespace theme. Is it that you do not see the bars at all, or is it
