It works even better if you do:
MooseImageSetupCommandLineHandler new installFonts; installAthens
For some reason I cannot do this on the server because the VM crashes.

Hi. The white theme - mostly nice. Except it is too white - I can't see the sliders. Is there a way to make the sliders less white?
Can you give me a hint on where to make the slider thumbs somewhat darker so I can see them?
Otherwise, pretty nice.

Hi Chris,
Thanks for the feedback. First, you can always switch the theme either via the Pharo Settings browser, or if you prefer the old Moose theme, you can still install it via: MooseImageSetupCommandLineHandler new installGLMTheme
Coming back to the whitespace theme. Is it that you do not see the bars at all, or is it just that you would prefer a bit stronger contrast?

Hi Doru,
Is there a simple way (script?) to install it and set it in Pharo 2.0?
Thanks,

In my case, in the whitespace theme I do see the bars, but the absence of visible separators between the different list views in Nautilus (and the buttons, and the code pane) kind of annoys me. I switched back to the old theme immediately. But I guess that's just a matter of taste and habit.

Yes, I think that we need more contrast. Also some parts of old theme are present (at least were some time ago). I think that we need to improve that :)
And it's really odd not to see all the windows at the beginning.

Hi, I think wee need more clear boundaries between the different areas. Also, today I spent several seconds trying to drag what I though was a the slide bar but in fact was the upper button of the slide bar, besides my blindnes I think a UI must be immediately clear.
In general I like the idea and I would like to keep the white theme after some improvements.
Cheers, Fabrizio

Hi,
Thanks for the feedback. Please keep in mind two things:
1. The idea of the white theme was to eliminate everything and only add when having nothing does not work at all: http://www.tudorgirba.com/blog/whitespace-theme-for-pharo-work-in-progress
2. The existing tools have a ui that is heavy on splitters and delimiters. The medium term goal is to rethink those tools to require less such visual helpers. This will take a bit of time, though.
So in the meantime, I made the splitters have a light gray color. Could you try now?
Cheers, Doru

Hi. So, I tried it - having the splitters show up would be good for people who haven't seen the borders before, and maybe for finding where to grab to change the size of panes, but that wasn't my issue (much). I think something a little more defined but subtle might be useful there - not sure.
What I was interested in was the thumbs, more along the lines of:
GLMWhiteSpaceTheme>>scrollbarNormalButtonFillStyleFor: aScrollbar "Return the normal scrollbar button fillStyle for the given scrollbar." ^SolidFillStyle color: (Color r: 240 g: 240 b: 240 range: 255)
and
GLMWhiteSpaceTheme>>scrollbarNormalThumbFillStyleFor: aScrollbar "Return the normal scrollbar fillStyle for the given scrollbar." ^SolidFillStyle color: (Color r: 235 g: 235 b: 240 range: 255)
Thanks, Chris

In my case, the issue is that I need stronger contrast. If I squint and angle my head just right, I can catch a glimmer of the slider thumb. That said, I can't actually make out the bar at all - is it supposed to still have any color at all? For what it might be worth, I'm running on Windows, using a LCD monitor. Don't know if that affects anything. -Chris
