Are there any plans making Moose load in VisualWorks 7.6?
- The Setup package breaks the launcher and the code browser. Unfortunately MooseSetup (1.6,girba) also loads the Setup package.
- Then I tried to manually load Moose Config (1.25,girba), what doesn't seem to reach an end and just keeps on loading forever.
Now I am lost ;-)
Btw, ASBAqua and ASBLook (from public StORE) are really cool if you are on a Mac. For the first time it doesn't hurt to look at the VW user-interface.
Lukas
where can we find VisualWorks 7.6? I did not see any announce.

The same happens, it ends up in an infinite loop while loading from StORE.
Lukas
Do you know of a free tool that will forward or reverse engineer VB or C# for Application Modeling?

These are packages as far as I remember. I also needed to load them several times to get it properly working, as there are some dependencies between them. So far for the atomic loading ;-)
Lukas
These packages are already in the Bern Store and they are in my Setup script.

"When people care, great things can happen."
These packages are already in the Bern Store and they are in my Setup script.
But does your script work in 7.6? The last time I tried I ended up in an endless loop and afterwards the code browser and the launcher were broken.
Lukas
It took a while, but now it works :).
I took out several prerequisites and replaced them with others. I also updated the working packages.

Do you have an idea of what went wrong? because I will update my loader too. :)

Strange, it does not work for me. I get several errors while loading
- ExtraRBForSUnitToo has been renamed to SUnitToo(ls) - RBCrawler-Commons Setup: Error (Subscript out of bounds) - Unhandled Exception: Message not understood: #first
In the end the Launcher disappears and trying to reopen it causes a debugger that causes another debugger and another ...

I was talking about the script from girbaSetup.
I will try to update the general prerequisites, but first I wanted to have mine working.
