hahahha The problem is that people does NOT understand that normally we
change vertically, not horizontally. It is faaaaar more common refactoring
model classes than changing the UI framwork or database. I remember once
when I was working, and we needed to add a new attribute to the User
"object". When the project leader asked me how many time I needed to spend
to do it, I say one week (ok, it was less, but it doesnt matter here
hahaha). And he asked me why,...my answer was that I needed to modify:
- The "bussiness" object User.
- User.hbm.xml or annotations mappings.
- DAOUser
- IDAOUser
- IUserService
- UserServiceImpl
- UI forms
- WEbservices
- USER table in database
