At workshops time is very limited, so I use only stuff that is prepared and tested. As these workshops are not so often, I mostly have to spend half a day making sure everything works again with the latest (or sometimes not the latest) version of Moose.
These kind of issues are the reason we can't get people like Steve Freeman to use Moose. They run into too much problems getting started with Moose.
