Of course, it can be used. This is why we call Moose "a platform for
data and software analysis" :).
I actually used it once for analyzing qualified data that was not
related to code.
Whether Moose is what you want depends on the requirements. First, you
should understand that Moose is a platform targeted to developers.
Second, when you go into new data, the questions are always about
format and size. Modeling data is typically not hard, especially at
first, but scalability can be an issue.
Also, when going towards analysis of business data you quickly get
into the area of business intelligence tools (i.e., data cubes).

Hi all,
For the moment this is just and idea and I really don't have any
implementation details, but there are a large institutions (say a City Hall
or a government entity, a large enterprise) with lots of information that
could be visualized, be queried and be understand as a complex system in a
similar fashion to what Moose does to helping to understand complex software
systems. As far as I know, nobody has used Moose in this context, but I
would like to know your opinions and views on this matter and if you know a
more specific tool for that with the same level of flexibility, integration
and interactivity of Moose.
Cheers,
