Assistant Professor and PhD positions at the Univ. Rey Juan Carlos (Madrid, Spain)

[apologies in advance if you receive this email multiple times] The School of Engineering of Fuenlabrada at the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, in the metropolitan area of Madrid - Spain, is recruiting i) a PhD position and ii) a tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor. Candidates with research interests across all domains relevant to computer science, especially in computer programming, robotics, computer networks, operating systems and web development are encouraged to apply. ===== Assistant Professor position ===== We are looking for candidates to fill an 6-year Assistant Professor position at the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, in Madrid, Spain. With the new Spanish university law (LOSU), you only need to have a doctorate degree to be able to apply. In our group we teach computer networks, computer programming, robotics, operating systems and web development, among other subjects. The position is in person (not on-line) at the Fuenlabrada Campus, near Madrid capital. Lectures are held in Spanish (so a minimum level of Spanish language is required). The submission deadline is until November 24. We have opened a 4-year, full-time, on-site (in the Region of Madrid) position for research in software engineering, particularly in software repository mining, within a Spanish national research project. A master's degree (or equivalent is required). It is not required to speak Spanish, but then a good level of English is needed. Deadline to apply: November 30th, 2023.
