All the web sites I know use the image for persistency (including
seaside.st and my personal web site). There is nothing that prevents
you from using Magma. There are even some extension published in the
repositories, but I don't know how reliable they work, if they are
used at all, what their performance is and if they are up-to-date.

Pier is not a Wiki, but a CMS ;-)
I know Pier has lots of
*extras* but I am more concerned about stuff *not* there. The
basics we
really want are of course recent changes, access to older versions
(diffing not required)
This used to be there, but got lost in the process. It would be easy
to add again, but I personally never felt a strong need to have it.
Maybe later tonight I will give a try to see if it still works ...
