RewriteRule ^/pier(.*)$
http://www.thoseoptimizeguys.com/$1 [redirect,last]
does a redirect if there is a /pier prefix. You can basically remove
this line, this handled the legacy case of expired sessions in Seaside
okay, i removed this.. and everything seems to be working fine..
except favicon.. hmm...
