I've implemented a Pier-Gallery at
http://source.lukas-renggli.ch/pieraddons/. You can import pictures
one by one or a zip file. Pictures are copied into a server directory
and not in the image. Thumbnails are generated automatically. It works
with the latest versions of Piers. Please keep me informed.
