PRBackupToMagmaPersistency In the same way that PRImagePersistency periodically saves the image to disk, this scheme commits the pier model to the database. This leaves the pier model in memory for speed, and it does not slow down edits at all with database commits. It should only write the model changes to disk, and so should be quite efficient and can be run more frequently than makes sense for PRImagePersistency.
