I have one I will be releasing soon. It isn't online yet, but you can see
what it will look like at:
www.hisflame.ch. At the moment it looks exactly
like that, except the guest book has been replaced with "login". When the
band members log in they get a few more buttons, and when I log in I get the
big grey pier boxes to let me add new pages, changes settings and so on.
As you can see, the front flyer is out of date. My pier site has a calendar
where the band members can put in a concert date (or concert recurrence
date). There are 3 places that get driving by the data in the calendar.
The front flyer, which looks for a file on disk with the name matching the
next concert date, the "termin" link which shows the next 5 events and one
other place that just shows the next termin. This way, the site will be the
authoritative place for band members to see when the next date is, and the
flyer can't end up getting out of date like this.
The site is full of custom components. In fact, the only things in the site
that are stock pier are, I think, two static pages. Everything else is a
component of some sort or another.
Oh, and the site is completely done with styles. If you have a browser that
can, you can turn off style sheets and you will see a plain white text page
with no pictures anywhere, except where it was part of the data being
rendered (e.g. the CD Cover picture).

oh... another question. Anyone run a
"forum" in Pier?
I know of no forum add-on for Pier.
Thanks Philippe,
Let me ask if there are any forum's running on any seaside?
I have one in rough form that is running on Seaside, somewhat like
phpBB in functionality.
