the image. :)
yes, that is a bit heavy for a Smalltalk server. I don't think the the
image-size would be really the problem, but stream-handling in
Smalltalk is quite slow for large amount of data. I would suggest that
he puts the iso-files into a directory served by Apache and put a link
there from SmallWiki.
- would it be possible to have a one click load
bundle? because this
was frsutrating to me to not been able to load SW for doing the demo
at paris. Luckily I had an old image somewhere.
I really don't know. Actually it should work when taking the latest
version of everything, but whenever I publish a new version a bunch of
loading problems come-up afterwards. I think the version on the Cincom
server usually loads with fewer problems. Also when reading the e-mail
of Alan Knight I think we should check if the SCG StORE DB is really in
a valid state.
