lukas I thought that we could enrich the metadescription themselves to
let us know what are the selectors we can use and the other object we
can use (such as today lastMonth....)

Yes, I see. This is certainly feasible. Take your ideas from Apple
Mail, iTunes and Finder smart groups.
Also check out the attached screenshot, it shows a user interface
to specify condition in a similar way. This commercial application
(therefor I cannot give you the source code) based on Magritte has
been written a couple of years ago.
