But how is this managed?
Does logging into Seaside automatically give me admin in Pier? How
do I add other users? Is auth handled on a per-page basis, or is it
inhearited so that I can do it on a per-tree basis?
On the version I have, when you enter Pier you only have minimal rights
(view...)
On the command side, if you log with admin (pass: pier); you have all
rights...
usually when you don't log, you should'nt have a lot of rights. On the
new version I have I have all rights without being logged (others). To
change that select a page, Pier for example
choose change owner
then operation
remove then save
you can do that on all pages individually or apply it recursively on the
subtree.
now you shouldnt acces any pages even for viewing them (if yout let
recursive checked)
(but the pages remains accessible for viewing if you type the adress.
(Is it normal Lukas ?)
if you want to change the rights back, log as admin and set some rights...
It is not unix rights, but ACM (access control mechanism).
This is a link from the guy who did it, u'll find better information
thant I can give lol...
