Loading Pier3 into Pharo3

Thanks, Damien, that will work for now. I did have to fix Pharo2's deprecated use of ensureDirectory in four methods first: "Deprecation: The method AbstractFileReference>>ensureDirectory has been deprecated. Use ensureCreateDirectory". I revised: FileReference>>#assureExistence FileReference>>#createDirectory: FileReference>>#assureExistenceOfPath: and MAFileDatabase>>#uniqueLocation

Loading Pier3 into Pharo3

I loaded the latest Pier3 (build 896) into Pharo30728. Seaside3.1 comes up in my browser OK and pier is listed by the Seaside Dispatcher. But I get 'Not Found /pier' when I click on it. Am I missing something?

I should clarify my last post. I didn't load ConfigurationOfPier3. I downloaded the Pier3 image from Jenkins and ran it on Pharo3.

First Steps in Pier?

Dear all, i have downloaded the latest Pier3 (Part of Pharo3.0) from https://ci.inria.fr/pharo-contribution/job/Pier3/, but have absolute no idea how to start it. Can someone point me to some code snippets or tutorials to survive the first steps? BW, Volkert

ConfigurationOfPier3 not loading in Pharo 3

Hi, I tried to load Pier3 into a Pharo 3 image and I failed because a dependence missing: This package depends on the following classes: PRWidget You must resolve these dependencies before you will be able to load these definitions: PRExportImportWidget groupLabel isAbstract label export: exporterImporter exporterImporter: exporterImporterClass exporterImporterClass: import:into: initialize renderContentOn: renderExportOn: renderImportOn: renderSelectOn: replace replace: anyone experienced same behaviour? cheers, Esteban

[ANN] Pillar release 0.6

Dear lists, I'm proud to announce the 0.6 release of Pillar, a syntax and associated tools to write and generate documentation and books. Pillar is currently used to write the Enterprise Pharo book (https://ci.inria.fr/pharo-contribution/job/PharoForTheEnterprise/) and other projects. The attached screenshot shows a part of the Voyage documentation generated by Pillar (from https://github.com/SquareBracketAssociates/PharoForTheEnterprise-english/bl…). Pillar has many features: - simple markup-based syntax with references, tables, pictures, captions... (this is the syntax of Pier) - export to HTML, LaTeX and markdown (more to come) - customization of the export through a dedicated STON configuration file - support of templates using the Mustache templating engine - syntax-highlighting of generated code blocks (not yet in LaTeX) - configurable numbering of section titles and figures - ... Just open a web browser on localhost:8080 and you are in business. Stephan

One that has in the 'Security & Privacy’ Settings, General tab, Allow apps downloaded from: Mac App Store or Mac App Store and identified developers? That is a fake security setting that should be set to 'Anywhere’. Stephan
