Needless to say that all SEG members are very much encouraged to join the talks and discussions. Eine weitere Präsentationsrunde folgt am Dienstag, 3. Juni. Siehe aktuelles Programm in der Tabelle unten. Alle Präsentationen finden im Raum 111 (Engehalde 8) statt. Die Teilnahme bietet die Möglichkeit, interessante Projekte kennenzulernen, sich fachlich auszutauschen und Anregungen für eigene (zukünftigen) Arbeiten zu gewinnen. Wir freuen uns, wenn Sie die Sessions vor Ort besuchen und sich aktiv an den Diskussionen beteiligen. We received 41 complete submissions, from which we desk-rejected 2 due to being out of scope, 2 were witdrawn by authors, one was moved to the industrial track as per authors request and 1 did not ended in a full submission. This led to 33 papers to review. Each PC member has been assigned no more than 3 papers. The assignment respects as much as possible the bidding of PC members. However, some of you may have received papers for which you didn’t bid, especially if you did not enter a high enough number of bids. Please find instructions on the review process below. Please check your assignment and let us know right away and no later than this week if you have an undeclared conflict with any of the papers assigned to you or any other problem that may have escaped our scrutiny. The deadline for reviews is: *** Thursday, May 22, 2025 (23:59, AoE) *** Please remember that our schedule is very tight and the discussion starts immediately afterward (May 22 to 29), so timely reviews are important. Please let us know now if you foresee problems. Please consider the following when writing your review: 1) When reviewing, take into account the submission guidelines at http://2025.splc.net/calls/call-for-research-papers/ Specifically, please explicitly address all five reviewing criteria (originality, importance, soundness, transparency, presentation quality) in your review. Nach Ablauf der Frist werden die Gesuche aufgearbeitet und dem AGG übergeben. Wo möglich, wird BU die Situation vor Ort zusammen mit Ihnen und dem AGG vor den Semesterferien besichtigen. Das Umsetzen der bewilligten Gesuche ist im Laufe des nächsten Jahres vorgesehen. Dank diesem Zeitplan ist es möglich, viele der eingereichten Gesuche noch im laufenden Jahr genauer abzuklären und Untersuchungen in Auftrag zu geben. Das AGG hat dadurch einerseits die Möglichkeit die Kostensicherheit bei der Budgetierung zu erhöhen und andererseits aufgrund des fortgeschrittenen Planungsstandes auch grössere Massnahmen innerhalb eines Kalenderjahres zu realisieren. He received his PhD from the Dipartimento di Elettronica e Informazione at Politecnico di Milano, under the supervision of Prof. Carlo Ghezzi. His doctoral dissertation focuses on programming methods and language-level techniques for adaptive software. He was a researcher at MIT CSAIL under the supervision of Prof. Barbara Liskov. Before becoming tenured at the Unversity of St. Gallen, he was an assistant professor at TU Darmstadt, where he led the Reactive Software Systems group. IT security is more than just a profession for *Uwe Gempp *– it’s a passion. With a background in software engineering and IT architecture, he recognized early on that sustainable security strategies require not only technical solutions but also a deep understanding of business processes and risks. His goal is to shape security as an enabler that drives innovation rather than hindering it. Over the years, he specialized in Identity & Access Management, Privileged Access Management, as well as Governance & Compliance. After holding software engineering and IT architecture roles at Winterthur Versicherungen and Credit Suisse, he became the CSO at Health Info Net AG. Since 2024, as a Security Officer at Adnovum, he has been driving security innovation, developing tailored solutions for complex IT landscapes, and overseeing the company's ISMS to ensure continuous compliance and resilience. *Join the discussion!
