There are also activities on forming an RSE community across Switzerland, similar to the ones that have been already established in DE and UK. Are you planning to collect structured data at multiple locations? To conduct an online survey for your research project? Do you need a secure database or data entry in multiple languages? We will give you an introduction and live session to REDCap, inform what services you can get for free at Uni Bern and what documentation is available to you. Visit of Wesley Assunção, joint dinner on Thursday

Dear all, this week Thursday and Friday, Wesley Assunção, Associate Professor with the Department of Computer Science at North Carolina State University, is visting us in Bern: https://wesleyklewerton.github.io/ The primary reason is that he serves as examinor of Alex' PhD defense, but he will also give a talk on Friday (separate invitation will follow), and there will be also some time for informal chats. Software Engineering Seminar Spring 2025. Deadlines

Dear all, Since not all the students will present their work already on May 27 / June 3, we can have presentations even later. However, there are some deadlines we have to respect if the grading should count for Spring Semester 2025. In particular, the latest deadline I could negotiate with the JMCS coordinator is August 20. This is only for our Master's students, we can stretch until mid of September for the Bachelor students. Please just keep this in mind for the planning. Best, Timo

SEG & CGG Hiking Day

Hello everyone, we are going hiking! Many of you are avid hikers, and so it would be nice to have a joint hiking day with members of SEG and CGG.
