In order to produce a full installation of Seaside-Magma-Pier the
configuration script is now available at.

http://smallwiki.unibe.ch/smallwiki/pier/installationofseasidemagmaandpier

To use it, open a vanilla image, open a workspace and 'doit'.

as always feedback would be welcomed.

Keith,
I tried in a vanilla 3.8 image and rcv'd errors.
First one is:
Unknown variable: Installer

Dear Brad,

yes that is to be expected. The first line loads 'Installer', so you
have to "do-it" the first line of the script first. Then the rest of the
script should be ok.

Yes, but if I do that, then I receive:
Reading an instance of SMMaintanableObject
Which modern class should it translate to?

But, I think this is a local problem with sm. That problem that pops up with different sm versions and map.*.sgz files in the subdir named sm. If the files are deleted, and I run the script,  then things seem to wrong smoother. This also happens when running sm package loader.

You might put a note on your script that if one comes along these problems, they might go to the sm subdir and delete the map.*.sgz files.
