"GToolkit" has never really grabbed me.   Is it an end user interface?  The term "Toolkit" doesn't sound like it.  And what does the "G" stand for?

The full name was Glamorous Toolkit :). But, you can think of Great Toolkit as well :). The main reason for G is that it is based on Glamour.
 
Would "MooseBase" be more conventional than "MooseInfrastructure"?  Hmmm... makes me think of "MoonBase" for no good reason.

MooseInfrastructure is not a good name. We should use MooseEngines.
