Sorry, the tittle is wrong. They are inner nodes. I use this example code:
view nodes: (1 to: 5) forEach: [:each |
       view nodes: (1 to: each).
       view gridLayout ]

Yes, this is what I see. But the image is named inner edges and I do not see any edge.
